Nice thing about older age is one doesn't have to worry about deload/reset. Injury takes care of it naturally.

Re: Pull-up Challenge, 2012

Did 11 chinups yesterday. Still not sure if the last one counts as I have to do some kicking in order to get my chin to bar height. Wednesday I'll try the pullups.

Re: Pull-up Challenge, 2012

Everyone, remember the "Pull-up Training" thread in the stickies in this section. It was started last year at the time of the challenge and contains a lot of good information on training this exercise. What's your take on http://www.50pullups.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;? Wor...

Re: Increasing & Improving Anaerobic Glycolysis?.

... there were responders and non-responders. It's a confusing subject. There are quite a few sources that say the opposite. i.e. that Creatine is recommended especially for older age. See, for exmaple, http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2007/10/071002213425.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);r...

Re: Increasing & Improving Anaerobic Glycolysis?.

You should be taking Creatine anyway, to whom would this advice extend ? Anyone interested in performance. Those that eat a lot of meat don't need it. According to http://www.webmd.com/vitamins-supplements/ingredientmono-873-CREATINE.aspx?activeIngredientId=873&activeIngredientName=CREATINE" onclic...

Re: Pull-up Challenge, 2012

Kipping pullups are not "cheating" if you set out to do kipping pullups. If you do kipping pullups and then tell people or even imply that they are just pullups, THAT'S cheating.
