Re: Getting Started again advice requested

I'm gluten-sensitive which is why I was looking into it. Thanks, I'll check out sprouts or whole foods for some pure oatmeal :)

Dumbbell Bent-Over Row

I did biceps and back at the gym last night and this was in my regimen. I only used a 10 lb weight which wasn't excessive for a single hand use for me, but every time i lifted, I heard (rather than so much felt) a popping in my shoulders. It didn't hurt and today, my shoulders don't hurt, but I'm ju...

Re: best non creatine pre work out supps

mmmmm cadbury cream eggs *drools* lol Alright. So Stu, I'm doing protein shakes in the AM right now because my protein intake for the day is, food wise, 2 hardboiled eggs and maybe half a serving of protein scattered in my dinner somewhere. I'm focusing on my diet, trying to keep candy, chocolate, g...

Re: Getting Started again advice requested

That bento thing is kinda awesome. I prepare all my fruits and veggies for the week, store them in individual sandwich bags for each day then grab the bags from the fridge every morning. Is oatmeal gluten free? I've never really been able to find a definitive answer on that one so I've stayed away f...

Re: best non creatine pre work out supps

Alright Stu, with that in mind regarding not yet successfully built muscle or lost much fat with a regular diet and exercise regimen would you not recommend supplements or creatine? Or would you recommend treading into those waters warily?

Re: Leg extension machine vs rest

I was never a fan of the leg extension machine. It never felt right on my knees and after 15+ years dancing they're not in the best shape in the first place anyway.

Re: Getting Started again advice requested

McDonalds?

Well, I'm sure fast food is a matter of preference. My body has never done well with fast food so I stay away from McDonalds, Arby's, Wendy's, Burgerking, etc as much as I can.

Re: Getting Started again advice requested

I'm thinking of keeping Casein as a dinner thing cuz I get home so late that eating that soon right before bed (an hour between getting home food an bed) is bad for your metabolism. and i understand your idea about the casein and whey, i think i'll mess around with those and see if i can find a mixt...

Re: Bench press is worst chest excercise?

Why wouldn't you use 300 pounds for high reps? Because I CAN'T, ok? Are you satisfied? lulz robert. I'm just saying.. His argument seems to be that if you're bench pressing, you've got to put on so much weight you kill yourself. If thats what people want to do, who am I to say no? I'm just saying, ...
