Re: Diet and excersize routine for fat loss.Suggestions are

The white wine isn't all that high in carbs. Sweet doesn't always indicate that, although usually it does. If you aren't training legs, then it isn't for a contest, so no deadline, and not that much left to go. So in that case just keep going as you are. You should probably train legs though. Becau...

Re: Food for insulin spike

all food spikes insulin to some degree. carbs spike insulin higher than other macronutrients. If you buy in to the whole idea that you need a big insulin spike post-workout then some fast acting carbs, ie sugar, would be what you want. dextrose, maltodextrin, vitargo etc are all popular choices. Wh...

Re: Question about stretching

Personally I pick one stretching exercise for each muscle group, and I maintain the stretch for 20-30 seconds. Re: Best lat excercise in my opinion

Lat pulldowns are great exercises though getting the form down can be tricky. What I find is people "burn out" their rear deltoids by either having trouble focusing on flexing and extending the lats predominantly in the movement. This meaning that they use a lot of arms and rear delts to bring the ...

Re: per cent body fat and strength

I think most people can maintain strength while losing fat, if they train hard, and lose slowly. It's easier to gain strength while maintaining or gaining weight, thus the common practice of cutting and bulking. Yes if you cut down your calories slowing and calmly while doing proper exercise so it ...

Re: loss of workout pump

I think at this point of age you should heavy weight exercise, rather than go for cardiac exercises and jogging to stay fit. Building Strength/Increasing Muscle Mass Research by Dr Michael Zourdos (PhD Exercise Physiology/Powerlifter) determined that increasing strength is optimized when three type...

Use BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) Calculator to calculate your resting calories and then go from there. BMR Calculators Who ever came up with BMR Calculations should be horse whipped, then shot.
