Ok back to the intensity juggling thing. Time really isn't a factor. I just can't do a fully body routine 3 times a week, and trying to do different excercises and different intensities will be impossible to keep track of. So can vary the intensity by the week? (Week 1 = light, week 2 = medium, week...

I don't know exactly either. But the impression I get is exactly what TimD sid about his dads ankles. He can't move one of his hips. He walks with a limp, has to keep the leg straight when he's sitting down. That kind of thing. I suggested swimming and he said he doesn't feel comfortable getting nak...

That's the thing, the doc said it was neuritis. But I honestly have no idea how to tell the difference between them.

environmental estrogens

This question isn't so much about healthy diet to build muscle mass. I want to see about getting rid of all (or most) environmental estrogens as possible. I've got what are commonly referred to in most social circles as “bitch tits”. (gynecomastia) I'd get the surgery if I had the money. But I don't...

Prototype Routine

I've decided to revamp my routine, since the gains stopped and I was getting pain in my forearms ( remeber what the doctor said caused it now. Neuritis.) . The two biggest changes, are that I will actually be doing stretching, and warm up sets. (You get the idea how much it needed changing.) I'm won...

Carido with a fused hip

I've got a friend in his early 40s. He's overweight. He doesn't eat that healthy, which is part of the problem, but the other part is that his hip is fused (I'm not sure on the details) so he thinks he can't do any cario.

Are there any types of cario excercizes for someone in his situation?

I've been working out off and on for a year.

the numbers are for rep work, not total max.

only 90 on the bench.
curling 60 (barbell not dumbbell)
weighted situps 30
squat 90

that's just the highlights but I think you get the idea.

Yes, but the reason I'm doign them is becaause I'm 5'11 145 lbs. My arms and hards are freakishly thin and effeminate. I need to get the forearms to grow with the rest of the body.

What's a realistic goal?

I'm 5'11, 145 lbs. I want to know what a realistic goal should be in terms of how much muscle I'll put on and how much weight I'll be able to move. I'll probably never be able to bench 300, but if I can get to 200 I'll be happy. and Ideally, I'd like the get up to 190-200 in weight, but I'd be happy...

Is it better for thw wrists to curl with dumbbless or barbells? Also, I HAVE been working out my forearms, that's what's making my left arm worse.

Forearm pain

I hurt my right forearm trying to turn a wrench about 8 months ago. I had to completely drop weight training altogether for 6 months waiting for it to heal. (I went to the doctor and he said to just lower intensity to the point where I wasn't straining the arm. Problem was using the bar by itself hu...
