well, I'm rather interested in developing explosive power for jumping because I play basketball a lot. The snatch overhead squat jump is basically what it sounds like because I'm just starting to get into these kinds of lifts I don't know if it has another name, I just started adding movements to so...

one question I might ask (though kinda awkward) is do you flex a lot with your right arm? I personally have the problem of asymetry and I have actually been taking measures to prevent this for about a year (all DB sets lead with left and only match with right) but I still have a significant imbalanc...

it might be outdated now, but a poll of a broad spectrum of athletes and various sports experts came up with the concensus that a jockey was the best athlete. I'm not quite sure why though.

If you can't spot grow, then there isn't much difference between a big upper body/tiny lower body and just one/a few big muscles in the upper body IMHO. But, I've also seen guys who really like shoulders for some reason and spend most of their time doing shoulder work without much else and they end ...

I tend to question Stephen's assertion that you can't spot grow a muscle group, this is just based on the numerous roid heads in my gym that work upper 4 times a week and look like inverted pyramids (shoulders too big to fit through doors but legs that look like they would be at home on a 150 kid).

The way I've alway seen box squats done (and done box squats) was with a very controlled motion in which minimal impact would occur when the glutes contacted the surface. While some people often do box squats with significantly greater weight than they might use for a normal squat, I tend to only sl...

Well, depending on your level of physical conditioning 5.5 miles per hour is probably fairly slow (low-mid level jog for me for example) and from what I've read about HIIT, the intensity is really the key factor. I'm personally following the HIIT schedule from muscle media ( http://www.musclemedia.c...

I'm not sure about the fainting thing...probably. One thing I have noticed though is it seems to really impinge circulation to my hands and fingers. For some reason about halfway through (I'm on the 6 min cycle at this point) my hands, and fingers in particular, get very cold and start losing color....
