HIIT and eating

According to the HIIT program I'm using ( http://www.musclemedia.com/training/hiit.asp ), for best results I am supposed to do it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and then not eat for an hour afterwards. This doesn't really jive with my current understanding of nutrition, wouldn't I be...

yeah, I wasn't much a fan of the weight splits/exercises...what do you think of the running/cardio portion? Do you feel sprints are more effective for losing weight than jogging?

Leaning workout

In about a month and a half I'm looking to change my workout program to http://www.wannabebig.com/article.php?articleid=154 . It basically suits my goal of trimming down for an aesthetically pleasing look. Anyone want to evaluate the program or give me some descriptions of some of the exercises that...

I think I eat far too much as it is. The cardio thing might be true, I'll work on getting cardio in before weights or in a different workout. I think I try pretty hard, I tried maxxing on 250 2 months ago and I missed it, but about a month ago when I did a 5x5 workout I hit 225 x 4 for my last set.....

I've been lifting with consistency for about a year and a half or two years. My sets of 8-12 are based on the low volume training article from exrx, my estimated 1rm is about 250 for bench so I do sets with 185 until I can do 12 then I'll move up to sets of 190 and so on. I aim to make every set fai...

The thing is, with this routine, I rarely get sore. If I do get sore it is that tight good sore, not the I can't move my body sore. I realize I might be overtraining but I basically built this workout using a template from EXRX

I'd spend less time in the gym but I feel like I've hardly gotten a workout in if I'm in and out in an hour or so. Today my workout was quick but thats cuz I tried some funky 8x8 low rest workout on my legs and was done in like 40 mins.

I'm not a competitive body builder by any stretch, I'm just someone who is overly concerned with my physical appearance and makes the time to spend 2-3 hours in the gym a day :-D. I've been trying like crazy to pack on more muscle but it doesn't really seem to be working with this current workout, a...

My workout

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone would mind evaluating my workout plan in accordance with my goals? I am a 21 year old male, six feet tall, weighing between 175 and 180 lbs depending on day/time of weighing. I would estimate my bodyfat to be at most 12%, probably closer to 10%. My goal is to reduce...
