snatch grip deadlift, mixed grip?

I was wondering if you could use a mixed grip when performing snatch grip deadlifts, or is doing that just an injury waiting to happen??

Also im not really worried about overtraining my front delts by doing this, even though im combining the two bench workouts it'll still probably be only 7 or 8 bench sets total for the workout...with only 2 of them being to failure. I think i should be ok doing the military presses 3 days later.

I think what im gonna do for the time being is combine them, and do seated military presses as my main and first exercise on what was the other bench day. Probably throw in my rear delt and lat raises on that day too. My overhead strength is weak compared to my bench, i just hardly ever do it, and i...

Question: I typically bench heavy twice a week...one being a wide grip bench day and the other being a close grip day. Also one of them will be flat and the other incline. For instance on a Monday i might do close grip incline, and on Thursday wide grip flat. Now my question is, since im going heavy...

Only thing i can recommend is to start some weight training. Even if its just a small routine with a set of dumbells that lasts 25-30 minutes 3 times a week. Now i know the typical female response to that is .."but i dont want to get all big and muscular!!" Dont worry, that wont happen! (unless you ...

Missed Thursday's Chest workout, but since chest gets worked some on Mondays its one that im ok with missing. I did do some sets of external rotators though in my quest to strengthen them, just to feel like i accomplished something. Got 2 more reps than i got Monday. FRIDAY 6/23 BARBELL HACK SQUAT (...

I have shoulder problems myself, but for whatever reason i never do any rotator stuff. But once i read it could hold your bench back...i'm on it!!

Curios to see how my left shoulder (the problem one) responds to this..

I noticed a change after about two weeks of this exercise, mostly in the front delt, is that weird. Even though the lateral delts may be your target, it is possible for the front delts to take over the brunt of the exercise....if you do them standing straight up and lifting directly out to the side...

Yeah i would still do moves like close grip bench presses for triceps even if you arent into bodybuilding. Its the exercises like dumbell kickbacks that you dont need to bother with.

Right now my grip is maybe 3-4 inches outside of the rings on a standard 45lb barbell. Does that sound like it would be adequately wide enough? Now im wondering if maybe im not going wide enough. I dont have long arms nor am i tall (probably just average i'd guess in both areas), if that has anythin...

I am the same way. Squats and deadlifts take alot out you, when i do higher rep sets my heart is just pounding so much afterwards and i feel so whipped i'd end up cutting the workout short. I would think its just normal cause they are such taxing exercises. What you're saying sounds good, about work...
