bent over rows can put alot of pressure on the lower back in a bad way. Deadlifts are the way to go. They work the entire back.

why not pyramid hit a variety of all reps generally if you want strength lower reps is better(3-6) for building muscle(8-12) i never go below 6 reps and never above 15 except on the rare occasion. i dont care how strong i am, i only want muscle. however, through training the body building style you...

Best for muscle and strength

Which way of exercise is better for building more muscle? Ive bin doing low rep exercises for a while now and im worried if i was wasting it all and thinking i was building more muscle. Low reps exercises are r best for strength.

that formula doesn't really jive for me personally, I can rep 70 lb dumbells (70 x 4 = 280) while my bench max is only 250. no thats not how it works. U dont multiply the weight by the reps. U just add the weight of the dumbells together and multiply the sum by two and ur bench max is that or aroun...

Yea and hear is an easy way to find out ur bench max ( I found this out a few months ago and maybe a few of u ppl know it). Ur bench max= 2(sum of both weights when repping dumbell chest presses) ex. if u dumbell chest press (rep) with 60 pounds in each hand 60+60=120 and 120 times 2= 240. So ur ben...

No its totally different. First of all it weighs 45 pounds. Second, If ur lifting 2 50 lbs weights which=100 lbs then u'll be able to lift more than a 100 lbs because ur using both ur arms. This is mostly when benching.

lol i know you're doing like 5 exercises just for one muscle group. I would just do bench presses and hindu pushups. Benching will give u chest strength and muscle and hindu pushups will tone the entire chest area.
