Exercises on same day

Is it smart or alright to do 2 exercises on the same day one targeting a certain muscle and one using it as a synergist? For example: Doing your first set of Military presses (use lateral delts as synergist) and 3 minutes later doing your first set of Lateral raises (using lateral delts as target) a...

I think you got it all wrong Golden. First, forget machines. Next, the arnold press just seems like a shoulder press with a lot of pointless twisty crap. You work the anterior good with shoulder press and lateral a bit too. You really need laterals or upright rows though. As for posterior, I find t...

Intesting question Golden. The bars on the DB's actually weigh less. but trying to lift them as opposed to a BB, wll, it might feel like more. It does for me, not sure about others. I;d like to hear how others view it Tim thanks. Im actually one arm BB military pressing 55 lbs so i was wondering ho...

Barbell to dumbell

Just curious but would lifting a barbell be 10 lbs more than lifting a dumbell if u were supposed to be lifting the same weight? For example: Would one arm shoulder pressing with a 45 pound barbell be like one arm shoulder pressing 35 lbs? The barbell is longer than the dumbell (making it easier to ...

doing bench dips with db raises

Would it be alright doing weighted bench dips and dumbell raises on the same day, as in will i still get good median shoulder results even though doing bench dips stretch the delts.
