The progression, is YOUR progression. Remeber you said you do 5 sets of every thing 12 - 50% 10 - 60% and then I don't know where you go from there. Is it 8 70% netx? Then 6 at 80% and 4 at 90%? Or maybe 5 at 85%? So I am talking about the 5 sets of the progression you were talking about. You have t...

It doesn't sound like it. The name kind of sounds suspect to me too. I wouldn't pay for that. For food, I would do either low carb, or the low glycemic/mediteranean type diet. They work and are healthy. For low carb I like to mix Atkins with Protein Power. Both are cheap paper back books. For the ot...

It seems logical that the stationary bike would be the worst, but the calorie counters do say otherwise. It is possible that the counters are wrong though. If you are heavy the bike has to be the least effective. It could have to do with the resistance level on the bike. I use a high resistance level...

Yes, train your legs with weights. The cycleing will not affect it.

I like palms out better. I think hammer hits the triceps a little more because it puts your arms in just a little closer. It's almost the same though. The reason to do it in my advice above, is so you can do an across the chest sort of motion to see if you can get more stress on the inner part of th...

well hopefully it is not aba every week. You do aba bab right? Squats and leg press are not hard on the knees. Leg extensions might actually be harder on the knees. If you do the excercise right you will be fine. Back goes with upper. If you do biceps on Monday, your back workout on Wednesday will g...

That's not really possible. It is going to depend on what you like to work with your shoulder muscles. You've got three deltoids, anterior, lateral and posterior. Then there is the upper trapezius also. Posterior delts get worked with the back. When doing rows, make sure you bend enough. I see a lot...

That would be a good idea Rexall. One set of lat pullovers would be a good idea too. I would also do less direct arm work and change the leg extensions to hack squats. If you have enough smaller plates, use those for deadlifts so it hits your legs/ass more. Or if you have heavy dumbbells use those. ...

Carb loading is a myth. You just have to eat more. However since carbs are more efficient, you don't have to eat as much of them. So in that way it is sort of true. You have to watch it with that sort of thing. It is really easy to turn into a total fatass during bulking. Some people go hog wild and...

Track and treadmill are not the same. Try it. Go ahead and put a nice big incline on the treadmill and then run a flat track. I'm not a runner but the track feels harder to me. There is a lot of argument and debate about it though. The treadmill feels easy to me compared to other machines too. Not t...

If Ayabara is going to worry about all that he/she might as well split it. The real criteria is first, can you get through it. You're saying barley. The next thing is, does it go over an hour. With answer 1 being barley, I would bet answer 2 is yes. There is an exponential decrease in effectiveness ...

Now that I can beleive. Yea, I could get through 8 sets of 3 to 4 at 85%. I was gonna say..... I would be shocked to see someone who could do 8 of 6-8 at 85% which would be to failure or damn close, and stay at the same weight. Of course I have seen a site where they talk about 3 full body work outs...

Those are all good snack ideas, there is something for everyone no matter what your diet might be. I still have not seen any proof that they increase energy other then the boost you get from any food. They will not cause the crashing effect though. That's as close to energy food as there is. If I ev...

Well I'll be damned..... I never would have thought that would work. Of course it doesn't say how many reps are in a set. Is it to technical failure or is it just 4 reps or something? Now I wonder if they have any research on size that doesn't involve steroids. Wow if it is like 8X8 at 85%, twice a ...
