If you really can't get all your sleep at once, the 45-60 minute nap is better then just missing the sleep.

I tend to miss a little during the week and play catch up on the weekend. It gets me by, but it is not ideal at all.

That's pretty good. The only thing is you should keep in mind your triceps are goning to be cooked by the time you do all those presses. They probably wouldn't get overtrained but, it isn't needed. Your biceps will get worked doing the rows, then with all those curls on top of it.... That might caus...

I agree with Ragu. I would just add that, for the situps, do them weighted and on some sort of a decline. If you do abs with straight leg DL you can probably get away with just 1 or 2 sets. Your workouts should be under an hour. They get exponentially less affective after an hour. I would think you ...

You will never get as sore as you did when you first started. There should be a tight or slightly sore sort of feeling. Since you are saying you are not getting that and you struggle to finish your workout, let me ask this. How long does your workout take? How many sets do you do of everything? Depe...

I like to do all my warmups at the beginning. I do more for the first thing I am going to do since I seem to need more at the beginning. I do my splits by muscles that work together. If you do a different routine, you might be better off doing it different. I think doing a warmup before each excerci...

Hey, I didn't mean it like that. I know it's painful. I was just saying I don't think lifting will have any affect on your prostate. I think you misunderstood the sailor thing, I don't mean it's like VD. I was just saying drastic changes in frequency can cause problems. I am sure it can just happen....

Untill recently I had no idea some people can't train to failure. I do it always on everything and I thought it was normal. I thought people were just wimping out. I have also started to notice doing 90-95% of my 1RM for 6 to 8 reps is odd too. I wonder how many different types of bodies there are, ...

I like almost failure in 8 with flys and then immediate bb bench loaded a little lighter then normal. Superset flat or decline one week, then the next week do it with inclines instead.

It does sound like they are lagging a little. Your lower back and abs could have something to fo with it, for the hams anyway. The routine looks even now, but maybe int he past you didn't work the hams and calves much.

I have never heard of anything. I can't think of any reason why the 2 would be related. Prostatitis is usually from not eh.... you know.... for a long time. Then you uh.... you know.... a lot. Sailors got it a lot. You've only been using your hands and feet on the weights right? I would say keep the...

I agree more with CDB. Most of the switching I do is just going from dumbbell to barbell and back. I change aux iso excercises more then anything. With basic compound I might give something a break for a couple weeks but that's about it. Most changes are just good for variety. Adding weight is a cha...

All those are pretty good. In addition I sometimes do skull crushers, and sometimes seated 1 arm extensions. One other thing I do sometimes is start with a lying extension/kickback and then when I can't do anymore, push the dumbells together for closegrips. It works the same with skull crushers. It ...

Yea you have been overdoing it for sure. Eating more is probably the best thing you you can do. Drop sets are a good thing. You can do them kind of the same way I mentioned with the supersets. Do a barbell Bench and then drop with a light dumbbell bench. Alternate between the flat and the inclines. ...

We were talking about lifting straps. I don't think wraps are needed, but I don't think it really hurts anything. Who knows though, if you are going heavy doing partials, maybe you need them. By the way I did find some decent gloves on ebay. They have longer fingers which should do the trick. I got ...

From what you said, it sounds like you are fairly thin. The most important thing you can do is EAT. You should have 5 or 6 meals a day. Since it sounds like you are thin, they don't need to be small. Don't eat junk food, but go ahead and eat some simple carbs, get your calories up there. Try getting...
