Re: Belly Fat Diet

I knew it was spam right off the bat, but by the time I got to it this morning, a discussion had already started, and fairly interesting. I generally watch the Doc Oz show before going to work, and he's always showing something alternative and controversial on his shows, and the fat loss alternative...

Re: Is this deep to you?

OZ, as Bobby calls you, I guess you're right. I guess I got lucky with the first video I called up and got into. Most of the other videos are coming up removed or private.

Re: Is this deep to you?

I got into all 3 links, no problem. Also, as to his being a pimp, well, he's just trying to pass on some pretty good info. I didn't see any sales going on over there.

Re: Hybrid, Full body / Upper/Lower Split

TimD, your support means a lot. I imagine you and others are hesitant to endore my eclectic program because, well frankly, I have no credentials and little bar time. So anything that allows me to be odd but directs it to fit my goals better would be appreciated more than just a general - "you do to...

Re: Hybrid, Full body / Upper/Lower Split

Oscar, FWIW, as to the Upper, lower, full thing, many PL clubs use this protocol. Not exactly as you have put yours out, but the premise is the same. As to many different varying exercises (BTW, yours aren't that much), I actually like the idea and do that myself. I've been following alot of Coach J...

Re: competition

You should be able to do well, and if nothing else, it will be a good learning experience. The Masters should have a weight class for you, and you might be the only one competing in it. Some tips from bad choices of mine over the years, if you are going to consider competing. 1. Might want to get so...

Ditto what Ironman said. He should have at least put them in the visitor article section, though.

Re: 4 Tips on Healthy Ageing

I haven't seen him break any of the rules, he's just kind of an annoyance. The system has it so he can't do links, but the minute he does, he's history.

Re: Cheating on the DL

Sometimes I use knee level socks, but that causes a bit of friction, so when I want to bypass the friction, I get a 2 liter bottle of soda, cut in half with the neck off, and stick it on my shins. Double edged sticky tape inside the half keep it on the shins long enough for a DL session.

Re: Random crap

Good pick Stu. Takes me back to the late 60's days, when I got drafted into the army (I think you Canucks and UK types call it conscription). Love that old stuff, but thats the first time I've heard that version.

Oscar you have to stop being so quick to jump. JAS has been posting in the visitor's article section for quite a few years. Was originially invited over by James, the board owner.

Re: Squat briefs`

Kenny would be the one to give you the best info on this, as he is a competitive Powerliter and has probably used them. The PL I did back in the day was strictly RAW, and I didn't use any equipment rather than a belt and occasionally some knee wraps. Just keep in mind, these are mainly used for comp...
