Firstly what is your goal? At 5 feet 109lbs I'm guessing it's not weightloss! If you want to eat chips, eat them! You can get ripped and cut out the chips when they've helped you to bulk up a little! As for the gym, have you changed yuor routine since you started? Maybe going through the motions is ...

Help, fatty wanting to lose a few (read 20!) kilos!

Okay so I'm back to a weight loss phase of my life. I've so far lost and kept off 20kg (44lbs) over the last 18 months, but it's now time to push for some more loss as I've noticed I'm gaining back some fat and losing muscle size (i.e. staying the same weight but clothes not fitting the same). Previ...

P.S. This is just the way I work, it may not be the best way for you to go, I'd wait for a few other comments from more regular lifters and their trial and error learning before going flat out to design a plan around my input! I also agree with nygmen that trying different variations on exercises yo...

I won't quote but i will respons in the order you posted: Yeah trust me I do the same! Hence my tone in my replies! They don't alter the overall lenght of the stride, but the percentage of lead foot to trailing foot change making you stretch out the hip flexor a bit further and use the glute's and h...

I've never thought of this before! I'll be wearing my Converse Dr J's from now on! They have basically the same sole as a Chuck Taylor! I had been wearing new style basketball boots with a lot of cushioning in the heel but it seems the Dr J's would be heaps better! http://sneakers.pair.com/l/pl-h-96...

Hi Force, Basically when you're setting up your own training plan you need to focus on what you want out of it! Basically I find that if I go through the site and look at what area I want to work on (and trust me, I'm a novice, I'm a fat dude who knows a lot but doesn't put it into practice, i.e. a ...

Kill 'em All is mostly 120 to 160 BPM, so I try to find a song that matches the workout and keep my heart rate to the musics tempo! I have Skull Kandy in ear buds, they...

I think you're reading far too much into it, they don't corrct posture to 100% perfect, they just help you to straighten at the hips whislt walking, one of the biggest posture problems and the first part most physio's look at. They also make you less quad dominant if you walk in them correctly, when...

Try them, then tear them down! I've had success so far so sorry if I don't go for your take on it! I think you're looking at them with an already gilted view so I'm sorry if I trust my experience of something over your opinion! And unless you have a log in for PubMed you won't exactly get much, that...

These are definitely NOTHING like the BOSU ball! The only time they have an effect is at the heel strike, the rest of the motion is a fluid one, it's a movement of millimetres, not centimetres like the BOSU ball! Not to mention the research on these particular products were done at institutes of goo...

Yep that's them! These are the ones I got: http://www.milletsports.co.uk/productmore.php?pid=7498 They're on my feet right now! AS you can see I didn't pay full price for them, they are really expensive! My advice, if you’re going to get some, get them on sale! I tried them on in a shoe shop in Stra...

Never got built! I still have all the steel for it but after the elbow break I took a whole lot of time off from the gym until the following November, by that time it was summer again so no need to work out at home! But yeah it will be safe, I threw away the design I found and the new one my friend ...
