I've spoken to my Doc and I should be fine to start back at weights in August! I have been doing cardio and light leg stuff but nothing serious since the break. I'm going to start with a one week intro then back to where I left off!

Hey elemental, I'm pretty limited by my gym, no free weights, smith machine only has about 120kg of weights that will fit and I can do that weight far too easy, plus smith machine limits stabilisers and ROM as well, also I was intending on going to a once a week, squat, leg press, leg extension, rus...

NEWS FLASH: I fractured the head of my left Radius at the elbow today by falling off my bike! Tried to stop too quick with only one hand on the handle bars (trying to answer mobile phone, IDIOT) and went over the handle bars, landed left palm first then onto elbow! Not sure how long I'm out for but ...

Thanks guys! My routine was 4 sets with increasing weight decreasing reps, 12x175kg, 10x200kg, 8x225kg, 6x250kg. I have massage every two months. Was training for basketball/volleyball and weightloss, easy cardio cause it serves a purpose! Haven't tried ice therapy yet. Doesn't matter for a while no...

Knee and Tigh Fatigue

I'm starting to get lots of fatigue in my knees and thighs, even though I only do one exercise (45deg Leg Press) on legs 3 times a week, does anyone think this might be from lack of recovery? A typical week for legs is Monday: Bike Ride 18km and Leg press Tuesday: Bike Ride 24 km and a Basketball ga...

I've never done a one arm dumbell press! I find the contraction from standard DB presses just fine! I can see though how it would really hit the core, especially on a balance ball, and increase contraction, but I don't think I'll try it anytime soon. I just want strength gains and weight loss right ...

Thanks guys! It was just one of those frustrating things, a guy at the gym told me it was only a super set if it was opposing muscles and so on and so forth!

Thanks again!

Name this set type...

Okay I thought I was doing super sets but I think I've mislead my self! When I work out I do a set of one exercise then instead of a rest I use a set of exercise on another part as the rest period for the first body part worked. A typical work out is: Bench Press and Lat Pulldowns 45deg Leg Press an...
