Also I think I've gotten subconsciously bored with the Starting Strength Program, I love it to bits and would recommend it to anyone, but I think I might give the 5x5 a try when I get back into it!

Haven't been working out much lately, combination of being back at work after 2 months off, already doing night shift, now having two kids under 2 years old and an overall lack of motivation thanks to decreased sleep! That's damn good, I couldn't do a single pull/chin up at 113kg body weight and there's no way I could do 3 with 13kg added now!

Squat: 3x5x132.5kg (resetting to 125kg after this as form deteriorated)
Deadlift: 1x5x140kg (Grip was clsoe to faltering on last rep, 145kg might just do me in at this point!)

I'm on to it these days, been on SS for a while now! But as a youth my squat technique was terrible, mostly from the arrogance of youth! Probably why I hated them so much back then!

I wish I'd learned to squat properly before age induced inflexibility set in! If you don't feel comfortable teaching your son how to squat, maybe have a few sessions with a coach/personal trainer to teach him the correct movement?
