Confusing Experience

Hey everybody, just looking for some input on what may have caused my change in appearance over the course of a few days, despite the fact that it shouldn't have happened. First, the background. I went up to Dartmouth with a bunch of other people from Thursday to Sunday. The whole time I was there, ...

I had surgery on my arm, it was VERY easy for me to tell when I was pushing things to far. I wanted to get back to weight trianing right away, unfortunately, in the beginning I couldn't even get a full range of motion. With weakness in the lower abdominals its probably even more dangerous to push yo...

Effects on Strength Training on Bulk

Question about Strength / Bulk training...

Right now, I'm both strong and bulky (5'8, 175), but I want to focus on strength now. If I start doing 3-4 reps in my program, to target strength, will I end up losing bulk? Will my weight change?

I can say that I have seen both being consumed, and in fact consumed alcohol myself. I will never use weed. Period. So I must side with alcohol being the safer choice. This is mostly based on the possibilty of psychological addiction to weed, as well as it being smoked (affecting the lungs directly...

I should say that I've been lifting constantly for 4 months now, I'm thinking of giving it a 2-week break in order to break pleateaus, which I've seemingly encountered on many muscles.

Weight Issues

I know the common refrain : Don't worry about weight, because you can lose fat and gain muscle mass. Only thing is, as a wrestler, I have decisions to make. Unfortunately (this would have been helpful) I don't have my body fat %, although I could post a picture of my body (sans face) to help you guy...

I'm not sure if this is your problem, but be sure to get a good amount of sleep. A lot of people get maybe 5-6 hours of sleep regularly, and it just isn't enough. There are so many benefits directly and indirectly related to sleep, including a direct effect on your metabolism (lack of sleep makes it...

Sugar vs Sugar Alcohol

Is there any actual difference between the two, or is it just another marketing ploy by food companies?

I've come close, but its more from some stupid decisions to try and work out too soon after a large meal than the decision to do heavy legs. I've never noticed any connection between working my legs and feeling sick, although I must admit, if I end up feeling real bad I'll just stop working out, bef...
