Hmm, I guess I'll describe the past few months and see if that helps. I spent May-September of last year doing 3x8-12 of roughly 65-70% 1RM 3 days a week, making slow steady gains. I spent September to Mid-October without equipment other than dumbells, so as far as chest work goes I did depth pushup...

Oh, no, my motivation rarely flags. And spending alot of time working out has never had a negative effect on my motivation/overall mentality. If anything, I feel alot better mentally after kicking my own ass during a long workout. I was just curious about the subject because all I've read about it s...

This thread is pretty far down...but anyways, why isn't it an option to go over an hour for a total body workout? If you do an hour and a half for a total body every other day, three days a week, are you seriously holding yourself back because you aren't getting enough rest or something? I always th...

Chest help please.

I'll try to make this as short as possible. About three weeks ago I plateau'd with my chest. I started doing incline barbell bench presses (which I had to drop ten pounds of weight off the bar to do. For form and repitition reasons) until my incline was equal to where I left off at my flat bench pes...

Safe bicep work with tendonitis of the wrist?

What exercises can I do to keep my biceps worked while recovering from wrist/forearm tendonitis? I've been wrapping my forearms and wrists to do EZ bar curls and dealing with it for a while, and it was fine, but now it's becoming a nuisance again.

Fat Burners and cortisol blockers?

Do thermogenic fat burners actually work? I know they have caffeine in them, but do they really do anything that say...alot of coffee can't?

Also, I'm pretty much stressed all day, so I've been looking into cortisol blockers. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge on the subject?

Comment on my rebuilt routine.

For reference I'm an 18 year old male training for overall strength and general fitness. I've been lifting seriously for about a year, lifting "non-seriously" for a year before that. I'm roughly 5'11 and 230pounds at probably between 15-20% body fat (I know this is pretty lousy). I do total body 3 d...

Forearm pain (splints?)

I've been lifting for a couple years now, but have always done curls with dumbells. I purchased an easy curl bar a couple months ago, and recently have noticed sharp pains in my forearms while curling. Sometimes the pain lingers post workout for anywhere up to a day. Based on a some quick internet s...
