I have always been an advocate of strength training for endurance and as Mark Twight would say: Endurance means having a big tank, strength/power/power-endurance training means having a big engine. I found that Crossfit was great at...

You could do it with her. I found this with my GF. She wouldn't eat breakfast and then go to the local cafe and have pizza as the first meal of the day. She was also vegetarian so her diet contained very little protein. Basically, I would get up with her and force some eggs into her. At snack time (...

I trained barefoot for a few weeks until the guy at my Gym asked me to wear shoes to keep the floor clean (I didn't realize people are made that stupid). So I started with flip flops and took them off for the lifts and they complained about that too. So now I wear a pair of normal shoes and I realiz...

Green Tea does actually promote fat oxidization, however this likely wont affect you unless you are doing some form of sub-maximal exertion well below your anaerobic threshold for longer than 2-3 hours (depending on your anaerobic threshold, lactate response, glycogen stores, fat burning efficiency ...

Have a partner hold onto them and pull you back while you explode forwards. * Push Press (rest taken at the top) * Thrusters * Dumbell (or kettlebell) swings. * Burpees * Box Jumps Basically,...

It isn't sulphur. It is from the undigested protein. Any protein does that, not just shakes. But with shakes it is easier to consume more than you can use at one time. So if you are not particularly large and have 2 scoops at once, you could have a fair amount of undigested protein which can give y...

I have read that if you are consuming too much protein shake, there is excessive sulphur in it, which could cause your stomach to ache. I personally stopped using dairy as it gave me the nasty farts, and there is nothing worse than comming back to your office after a meeting and it smells like stale...

2800 Kcal per day.

Does this mean I am shooting myself in the foot by only eating 2300-2500 kcal per day?

I weight in at about 72-73kg at the moment. Should I eat a little bit more to avoid crashing. I don't feel particularly hungry in between meals.

Thanks for the advice, it's always good to see you are on the right track. I'm not that fat to start with so I'm not sure I will see that many issues. I can already see the veins in my shoulders and legs, but I want to get rid of some of the fat on my midfrif as I can't see my Abs too well. This is ...

I tend to buy frozen veggies too.

I think it is impossible NOT to boil them as I find they boil themselves however you cook them.

Even pan frying them means they take so long to thaw that you end up pseudo boiling them anyway.

Are you suggesting to let them thaw and then eat raw?
