According to my instructors in school, they say hydrostatic weighing is the most accurate, but who has easy access to that? Anyway, their testing rates are $20.00. Not too bad.

Speaking of jump ropes, is there a particular type that is better to use? I've heard the beaded ones are good because it can be adjusted to the jumpers height.

Yes. Re-hab is mainly the reason i got the ball. Once my back gets stronger, i want to start a weight training program, but not too fast. I don't want to re-injure myself. Then i will ask questions about weights.

When i injured my back in the L5 region, i was given a stability ball to help strengthen the back. I realize it's not the definintve exercise tool, but rather an addition to a program. I checked out the books in the exrx book store previously. I just didn't know if one is preferred or better than an...

Want recommendations for stability ball books

Is there a short list of good stability ball books which have extensive exercises and showing proper form? I see tons of books, but not sure which would be the best. Is anything from Paul Chek worth purchasing? Thanks.

What to eat at night

I get hungry around 8 or so, a couple of hours after dinner and want to have something that will fill me up but not have too much sugar or carbs.Should i eat something with lots of protein?
