The version I'm using is phpBB 2.0.21. You can see it in the lower lefthand corner of one of the images. Because I use a free hosting service, I get their upgrades. So that's what they have currently. At the bottom of my screen, between the "New posts" icon and the words "powered by..." is a link th...

Something else you might want to try is setting up your own board. There are domains out there like armbell.com that allow you to set up your own phpbb boards for free. You could use the features of the software to become more familiar with it while not risking damage to this board. I did that so th...

I don't know how to dump the entire database of users without deleting every account individually. To do that, click on "User List" in the admin panel. For me it's the bottom option in the menu on the lefthand side as seen here. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v137/tisapphire/adminpanel4.jpg My de...

You shouldn't have to dump the registrations. Enabling visual confirmation in addition to making people activate their own accounts via email should keep out the new robot spammers. Those two changes won't affect people who have already registered, though. So the spammers who are already here will h...

Okay, I adjusted my screen resolution to get a better image of what I'm talking about. Here's the portion of my board configuration that I'm talking about. Hopefully this one is a little easier to read. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v137/tisapphire/adminpanel3.jpg ETA: The two lines second and t...

I had mentioned that too. It also needs the thing where the user gets an automated e-mail they have to reply to. It's gotten bad lately. I have been zapping like 20 a day. Then Tim probably zaps that many too. I have to agree the phentermine is the worst. Probably half of it is about that. Don't pe...

I'm not sure what features may or may not be present in different versions of phpbb software, but I'll be happy to answer any questions that you have (assuming, of course, that I even have the answers!).

Here is a Link to what the configuration link of my admin panel looks like (identifying info removed since it's a private board). Right now, we allow anyone to register, but they have to use the visual confirmation. ETA: Here is another Link that shows the admin panel menu options on the lefthand si...

Tim, I'm an admin at a phpbb2 board. I have the ability to set mine up so that I you have to enter a random visual code when you register. This eliminates automatic registration because the visual code is an image and not text. Using this, registration can only be done by a person who takes the time...

You do not have to feel sore after a good workout. However, you can feel sore after a good workout, which is probably why the two are correlated in the minds of most. I don't know if anyone has ever come up with a good explanation for delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS), but I notice it when I push...

I agree with George regarding the full body workouts, particularly for fat loss. Have you considered circuit training? I tried it last fall three days a week and lost about 15 pounds over four months. I wasn't 100% dedicated or I could have done better, but it was a great start. What I like about it...

Is there a reason that breakfast must include eggs or that eggs are eaten almost exclusively at breakfast? I'm seriously asking, because they almost always seem to be included at breakfast but rarely at any other times of the day. Don't get me wrong. I love eggs. But I can only handle any type of fo...

Since you haven't been burning as many calories due to your inactiviy, I doubt much of the 5 pounds is muscle or fat. It could be water or measurement uncertainty. I never pay much attention to weight swings in the 5 pound range because there are so many reasons other than muscle or fat for why weig...

You have to be careful when using subjective terms such as "healthy" or "good" because they can lead you to poor decisions. For instance, white bread is not "bad." Its enriched flour is easier to digest which means it tends to spike your insulin more easily than whole wheat bread would. But this doe...

Part of the problem with any type of scientific study that encompasses such a large number of variables as the human body and human culture is that in order to study one aspect you much hold constant everything else. Or at the very least you must conduct the experiment using a matrix to control thos...
