Todays work got me to thinking about one of the reasons I think we stall out. I think we get comfortable with the weight we push and don't really give a max effort. I know I lift alone most of the time and I don't want to get hurt so sometimes I think I leave a rep in the tank.
I feel the same way. I was benching 210 for 2 months strait and dropped down to 205. 3 weeks later I was up to 225. That was when I started doing 5X5 but still, I give it a lot more effort now.
