Front squats sure take some getting used to. Stick with them longer than just 1 or 2 workouts before you go back to leg press.

I don't really like either; with front squats I can't get down very far without leaning forward, and leg press feels... wrong. I tried some unweighted split squats this morning and those felt more natural, and I could certainly use the hip flexor stretch... so that's what it's looking like

For various reasons I'm going to simplify and do full body 3 days a week, looking like

A.
Squat
Bench 5/3/1
DB Row
Plyo Pushup

B.
Hang Power Clean
Deadlift
Dips
Pullups

C.
Hang Power Clean
Squat
Push Press
Chinups

Plus a shorter day with miscellaneous things like Pallofs, Farmers Walks, etc.
