creatine experiment

Post by brownman18 » Tue Nov 28, 2006 11:34 pm

First day took about 2 grams before workout in a 8 ounze glass with water.

Took about 5 with water (in a water bottle) after workout (which is all im taking starting tomorrow) then fifteen minutes later took a whey protein shake.

Even at the gym i noticed more energy and i found i could do bicep curls for example seated with 40 lb weights in 3 sets of 10. BUT after each 10 reps i could push out another 2-3 after resting my arms mid air. Then i'd set them down and do another 10 and then 2-3 more after that set.

I also found i didn't get tired at all usually i suffered from this because i wake up at 6 am for work and don't get home until 5pm then i rest eat dinner and work out around 8 or nine for one hour and 15 minutes.

I'll post something every two days (workout days).

On my off day i plan on taking 5 grams around 8:30 pm on an empty stomach. Also doing cardio on this off day (wednesday). I'll post how i feel tomorrow at night see if any difference.

Also consuming 40 ounces of water a day or about 8 500 ml water bottles. (same thing)

i know this sounds crazy but the only day i ever took creatine, i went for a run after my workout and it felt like my whole body was breathing, like i could run a mile if i didnt lose my breath so easy.

i want to try it again being more aware this time to see if it was actually the creatine or something else. my body has never felt like it did on that day, and i have never taken creatine any other day.

if it makes any difference, i seem to have low energy most of the time i work out, and there is a history of diabetes in the family.

btw does anyone know where i can get a free sample of creatine?

It is all fairly cheap. Go to a Vitamin Shoppe and get their house brand. If you go with some of the name brands, you will be paying for the name. Stay away from the pills. They are WAY more expensive.
