Post by bob » Wed May 02, 2007 10:43 pm

I get hungry around 8 or so, a couple of hours after dinner and want to have something that will fill me up but not have too much sugar or carbs.Should i eat something with lots of protein?

One of my favorites is to gra a bit of left over meat, say 2 or more oz/s pt it in a microwwav safe bowl, pour in some chopped veg, (chopped broccolim french cut green beans and chopped spinach are work well), nuke it till the veg are hot, pour off the excess water, throw in a bit of cheese for flavoring and whatever seasoning you like, ix it all up, the pour two beaten eggs over the top, nuke it till its hard (about 3 mins or so), stirring once or twice. Low in calories, high in protein and the veg really gets me full.

Meat or a peanut butter sandwich for me. Something a bit high in fat and casien protein for slower digestion and absorbtion.
