Perhaps the best pre-workout food I have ever stumbled upon

Post by hoosegow » Sun May 13, 2007 5:43 pm

If you are trying to lose weight, don't read any further, but if you want the best day in the gym you have ever had, I think I may have found the perfect food. The first time I tried it, I needed a little energy. Today, I purposely chose this food and what a workout I had. What is it?

Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie Sandwich. The one you can get at most convienence store frozen treats section. You know the one with vanilla icecream sanwiched between two cookies.

I don't know what it is, maybe it is the type of sugar in it, but wow does my performance go up. Here is the nutritional breakdown on it. quadfrog, your doctor would kill you if you ate this:

1 sandwich
500 calories
24 g of fat (that's 37% rdv)
9 g saturate fat (45%rdv)
4 g of trans fat
64 grams of carbs
6 grams of protein.

Well, I'm not sure about the pre-workout angle, but if I was one of those types that stayed skinny no matter what that just couldn't gain weight, I would certainly take one or two post workout. Kind of reminds me of the PIP diet (Pepsi, Ice Cream, Pizza).
