Interesting read. I'd just like to emphasize a point the author himself (Berardi) makes. This is NOT for your everyday fitness buff. This is extreme, and is for those already close to 10% for contest/weigh in purposes.

Yeah, so do I. The tactics; macronutrient breakdown, refeeding aren't anything new. Vince Gironda was promoting that stuff back in the 50's when I was a kid, but the 10XBWT for kcal consuption makes it pretty intense.

I'm gonna order that book Precision Nutrition by John Berardi tonight, thanks to KPj and the other thread that brought it to my attention.
