low carb diet

Post by frigginwizard » Thu Jun 04, 2009 10:58 am

I decided to try a low carb diet to lose some body fat, limiting my carb intake to spinach broccoli, onions and bell peppers.
Is it normal to become lethargic and depressed on a low carb diet?

For about the first 1-3 weeks. After your body become accustomed to burning fat for energy, you will have more energy.

You should be eating low-carb because it's healthy, not just for body transformation. If you follow a paleo or primal diet and lifestyle for the health benefits, you'll stick to it for the long term.

Once your body is adapted, you will notice a huge difference in energy.

My teeth are almost healed, and so i started my primal diet again today.
Bacon, Chicken (with skin) broccoli, cucumber and celery with olive oil.
It took me a good while to eat it all, because i chew my food very well. But im not even full and i have tons of energy.
