Well, this thread has been hijacked beyond repair. Why not start it back up in the lounge under "gloom and doom" or "the ancient prophecies", or "the Bilderbergers/Illuminade"

To get this back on track, some people smarter than me wrote a critique of the Dietary Guidlines report.

I haven't had a chance to read it yet but it is quite critical of the guidelines. This was linked to by The Healthy Skeptic.
