"Fufu" is a slang term that means excessively feminine, frilly, excessively decorative. Lace, lavender pink stuff are fufu. Nothing called fufu could possibly increase your muscle mass.

That's frufru, Doc.

Fufu is an African starch-root dish. I've never had it, but it kept getting talked about in "Things Fall Apart." Hmm...I learned about African cooking in a class about revolutionary political thought in college.

I'd imagine that you'd put on weight eating it, for sure - just like eating gobs of any other starch. There is a reason rikishi (sumo wrestlers) eat so much protein and starch.

Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe. The major themes are yams, yam farming, yam foo-foo, and of course wife-battery

WTF!? Wow, that's stupid even for you. That makes about as much sense a condom machine in the Vatican.

But my friend who mentioned it to me knows a lot of people who have put on mass with it, who were once really skinny.

I know, which is why I said it, "I herd it makes you huge."

I'm just curious if any of you guys have tried it before.

That takes me back. We read that in 9th grade English class.
