Why is there sugar in V8 juice?

Some vegetables contain sugar, all fruit contains sugar.

I wouldn't know for sure, but if its anything more than 10g/serving I'd guess they probably added some.

A serving of carrots, for instance, has ~4g of sugar.

You could look in the ingredients for sugar, hfcs, etc...

I tried V8 a couple of times after I started going low-carb, thinking it would be a good way to get my veggies. A couple hours after, I had a hypoglycemic crash, just as if I had a donut. I would suggest that it doesn't matter if it's added or natural, it's still sugar.
