Start your day off by avoiding carbs and do that until your evening meal. That may help you with the overeating.
Carb cycling not withstanding, I dont undertand why its ok to short myself on protein

You don't "need" much protein. As long as you get enough carbs, you can get by on very little. Remember that you're already in a calorie surplus. However, if you eat more protein, you'll be less hungry for carbs and it will be easier to maintain a calorie deficit. Tomorrow, have some eggs and coffee for breakfast. No toast, pancakes or hash browns. Mid morning, have a small handful of almonds. At lunch have can of fish and a salad with olive oil dressing. At supper, eat until you're not hungry. (not stuffed) Eat anything you want but include meat of some time and no bread or pasta. See if eating that way decreases the number of calories you need to stay satisfied.

ok. I get what you were getting at but did not want to put words in your mouth.

I have Warrior Diet so dont want to bother you too much until I do some work/reading.

Kurt Harris just updated his diet advice. It's a work in progress but it's consistant with evolving Paleo understanding and isn't much different than The Warrior Diet, among others. He's much smarter than I am and he usually gets things right. http://www.archevore.com/get-started/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

these extremes are not reasonable for folks like me.
Drink water, tea or coffee. No sodas, sports drinks, juices, or milk
I'm strongly considering preplaning the entire month of Octobers diet - and stick to it. I have time to warn wife and thus won't be bothered by missing meal time with her

Dr Oz told me no bacon or cooked ham or I'll get brain cancer.
I'm dieing of something.

screw never having milk again

Liquid calories are for gaining weight. A little in your coffee isn't going to kill you.

Dr. Oz is nuts.

No milk would be .... it would ruin my life :)

Any time I don't want to chew through cheese, have too much omega 6 to be eating hands full of roasted nuts, have already eaten lean meat 2 hours ago/will be eating an hour/2 later... I go to milk.

Bed time? milk - 10am shake? a ton of milk - 12pm and gunna have lunch at 1:30? MILK!!!! MIIILK!!!!!

It's not like im downing a GOMAD - but maybe half or just under... without it I'd have to prepare more or chew through another round of something similar to what I have already had.

Anyway cheers Stu
