BCAAs and other proteins

Post by robertscott » Thu Sep 29, 2011 11:20 am

I remember hearing on here, I think it was from Stu, that there's no point in taking BCAAs with other protein sources.

What I'm wondering, is how far between feedings would you think that would make a difference? Is there any point in BCAAs pre workout if you've already had a hearty breakfast?

Thanks as always for any help
Bob

they were saying if fasted, pretty essential.
If not, then take them before and during workout, and then might as well hold off on other protein for ..maybe an hour, (?) to give time for the BCAA so it does not interfere with the other protein.
It never hurts, it justs waste of good protein and BCAA will win, so hold off on othe one
If Breakfast first, not sure how long to wait, or if complete waste
Will also be interrsted as I will likely use these even more now

yeah I remember that thread, and I know they're good fasted, the bit I'm still unclear on is how long after a meal you should wait before taking them
