Discuss health screening, fitness testing, and assessment

I've tried searching the internet for how to evaluate the fitness level of different muscle groups, to objectively test whether one muscle group is at a different fitness level than others. I've had no luck, so either what I'm looking for isn't there or I'm not searching for the right terms. Do you have any advice regarding this? Any thoughts are appreciated.
You should test movements, not muscle groups. It's how your muscles work together that tell you is something is wrong. The strength standards in the testing section here will give you an idea of movements that might be weaker than others. You might also want to gt a FMS movement screen. That will tell you if you have any movement issues.
I had stumbled over the strength standards once before, but I wasn't sure how to use them at the time. Thank you for the help, I will look into it. Reading about FMS movement screens, I'm not sure what kind of practitioners would offer this. Where do you get this from in the US?
