one can find inexpensive landmine/"t bar row" attachments on ebay, for example search "Ivation T-Bar Row Platform" (my rep is too low for posting links evidently)
I'm wondering whether anyone has tried these and whether they're cheap because they're worthless.
Thanks!

It will probably do just fine.
However, the main issue that I have with models like that are they need to be clamped on to something.
I have an prefer models like the...

You don't need to clamp it on to anything. Just stack Olympic plates and insert it.
Thus, you can take this model anywhere and use it.

I have that exact design and it works fine. I attached it to the bottom of my rack and it hasn't come lose and the weight of the rack holds that end down. I'd say it's probably best bang for your buck out there.

Thanks for your help.
Kenny, do you have one of those "plate-insert" style landmines? You said you like the idea of taking it anywhere - have you actually done that? Are you like taking it outside or something? On vacation?

Yes, I have the "Plate-Insert" Landmine. I use it at home.flies wrote:Thanks for your help.

Yes, on nice days, take it outside and use it. I have a covered back patio and use it there.
On hot summer days or cold winter days. I sometime bring it inside and use it.
The ones that attach to your Power Rack work. However, I prefer the "Plate-Insert" Landmine because it allows me to use it where I want.
