So Ive been weightlifting 4 days a week for the past 5 months or so. One thing ive noticed is even when Im pushing myself incredibly hard to get that last rep in on the 3rd set im not feeling my muscles burn. However, if instead of the last rep i do a 20 second static I feel them burn like mad and can really feel it the rest of the work out and the next day.
So Im wondering, should I try doing statics for all of my excersises? Does it lead to better progress?
