BOOK REACTION

Post by Keith Rowland » Thu Aug 03, 2006 9:26 pm

Has anyone read Dave Draper's book, Iron on My Mind? I can't beleive I paid $24 bucks for it. While I respect the blond bomber as a legendary bodybuilder, I think he ate way too much tuna. Each chapter of his book makes one wonder if he quit the bodybuilding scene to run away with Dr. Timothy O'leary. The chaprers are experpts from his web site and contain philosophical ramblings that could best be understood at 2 am on a bar stool. I'm forcing myself to finish reading it on the premise that he hid some esoteric morsel of muscle building knowdedge in there. I'll let you know if I find it. In the meantime, I think I'll cut back on my tuna consumption.[/u][/i]
Bio: Age 56; former NPC Masters Champion (1990); teacher; married with kids; heroes: John Grimak and Frank Zane; favorite sport: Steelers Football (worked in TV with R. Blier); hobbies: canoeing, cycling, free weight exercise.
