Well, I was just watching the local noon news, and on one of the segments, they had on a local gym owner who frequently guests and takes phone calls for advice. The subject of plateaus came up, and he gave one of the best answers I've heard, so I decided to post it up. He said simply, change. Change something, be it adding weight, changing sets, reps or whatever, just change something and go til you stall out again, and then change some more.

Periodizing your training (basically what he said in more simple terms), along with assesing and targeting your weaknesses, is the best way to go about it.
