Hi everyone.
Due to a snowboarding accident last Saturday, i've had to take almost a week off from lifting. Now I was wondering if this is a bad thing?
I've read in some articles that they say it is good to take a break every now and then, is this true?
Thanks!

Yes, a week off, especially after an injury, is a good thing. periodically taking a few days off after 4-8 weeks is fine, no problem, may even be beneficial.

Some of the best workouts and biggest gains have come after a short layoff. Also, I read an article not too long ago that most people don't have a significant strength reduction until 6 weeks of not working out.

taking time off from time to time is great, a week, a few days and in some cases a month or so .....although you dont have to go to extremes for an excuse to get it off.....( joking ). It re sets the mind as well as the body , giving you a fresh out look and time to revamp your routine if need be.
