dale2177, you might not be lifting as heavy as some of the other guys but pound for pound you're probably one of the strongest guys around

Don't worry about numbers. They're quite respecatable, plus you're not in competition with anyone, except maybe yourself. Lot's of factors to consider anyway. Age, length of time training, joint health, etc. You're doing just fine, just keep it up.

I haven't had opportunity to write here for a while. I've lost 15# in the last year so I'm not hitting PRs much right now.

Yesterday I did high rack pulls with 455 and locked out twice. My previous best was 415 set last June. I attempted 495 and got it off the pins twice but couldn't lock out. I wasn't using straps but my grip was OK. Maybe it's all those pull ups.

This is the first time I've posted to this thread. Today I hit two PRs that have been goals for a while. The goal was to reach these by the time I leave PNG for a few months of home assignment and holiday in the US, and we leave tomorrow afternoon.

Dead lift 300#

Rack pull (6") 330#

The goal was actually to do an 8" rack pull at 330#, but I hit that a few days ago, so I decided to give it a try from 6".
