Hey guys, never posted a PR before, because they were/still are weak.
But since I've been doing starting strength, my strength has gone up a little.

Bw: 84kg/185lbs about 17%bf
front squat: 187lbsx5 (finally above bodyweight, next goal: 90kg= 198lbs)
deadlift: 250lbsx5 (goal:120kg/264lbs)
bench press: 145x5 (goal: 70kg/154lbs, want to get to bodyweight)
power clean: 165x3/180x1 (stopped doing these after a missed lift which almost injured me, swapped it yesterday with 45° rows)
press: 88lbsx5 (just started doing them, did close grip-benches before because of shoulder injury, goal= 110lbs)

I've hit a few goals last week:

Bw: 84kg (didn't change :frown: )
front squat: 90kgsx5 (did 91kgs/200lbs x5 yesterday but didn't get the 5 reps on the other 2 sets)
deadlift: 120kg/264lbsx5
bench press: 70kgs/154x5
press: 42kgs/92x5
Pendlay Rows: 56kgs/123lbsx5

Long time goal hit yesterday. Back Squat 3x5x100kgs. 2 x 20kg plates on each side so much more conveniant than the 20, 15, 2.5 and 1.25 that I was using for 97.5.

Now only one increment away from the magical 1.5x bodyweight (102.5kgs).

I haven't bought any special hackying shoes yet. I just use my old new balance running shoes. I just found my hacky sack stash when I was moving my old stuff around 3 weeks ago, and just started to pick it back up again after many years.

Believe it or not I think weight training has made a difference. I seem to have better balance and explosiveness (good for when I'm off balance and the bag is flying away from me so I can lunge at it and get it  ).

And a new best- today I beat my 41 by literally doing 50 one time and 47. I told myself whenever I get to 100, I can buy myself some hackying shoes.

I find it's funny that Hacky Sacks have become popular. I first learned about them while sky diving back in the 70s. It seems that some bored skidivers started kicking them arround while waiting for their flights. They were all hand made then. Now they're everywhere.

I actually picked up the habit when I was in the army. Oftentimes a lot of waiting around was involved (hence the phrase "hurry up and wait") and just sorta thought it was a timekiller. I grew to really like it but everyone used to give me so much slack for doing it. By the end, half my unit was playing before formation everyday. Course I was quite resentful of the army when I left so maybe that's why I just stashed them away and forgot about it.

Once I get to a university college instead of community college I expect too see it more.
