Doc you might wanna be careful back-squatting bare-skinned. Your skin can get really slick when you start sweating, and while you'll probably never have a problem with it, you never know if it could cause the bar to do something crazy.

Good point. Hadn't thought of that. Also have never noticed the bar starting to slip. Maybe old rusty bars don't slip as easily as new shiny ones.
