I want to get stronger all around so will i get strong if i work my upper body Mon and weds and my lower body Tues and Thurs?

Simply...Yes, but it would be better to do upper Monday and Thursday, Lower Tuesday and Friday. Wednesday do nothing to give your body rest and recover properly.

An alternative, if you only have Mon-Thurs available is to do Lower on Monday, upper on Tuesday and whole body on Thursday. You could do something light weight on Wednesday.
