Exercise when you're getting over a cold?
Is it okay to work out when you're getting over a cold? I've been sick since monday with sore throat, stuffy nose and a slight fever. The fever's gone now and I'm itching to do some weight training, but my nose is still stopped up... do you all think it'd be okay to do some light training?

Ah, yes, I failed to mention that I've been traveling to two countries in Europe this week, both have reported cases of the swine flu... someone better spray this board with some bleach or something

Thanks for the advice. I really like the idea of feeling sorry for myself, but it's not as fun doing it without loads of Ben & Jerry's. And I don't have any.Jungledoc wrote:If you're eating normally, and feel reasonably energetic, I think it's OK to get back into it. While you're still achy and tired it's best to just stay home and feel sorry for yourself.
I think I'll try and do some easy weight training and see how it goes. I'm feeling okay except for the stuffy nose.

You should have this kind, just in case some swine flu victim you meet might sneeze in your eyes. Wear it all the time, everywhere you go.
