Don't forget about the weight of the collars as well, if you use them. Some are 2.5kg each, hence 5kg for a pair.

I've been doing Starting Strength and I've gone from a self imposed 110 (50kg) to 155 (70kg) in 5 weeks on both squats and deadlift with my weight going from 268 (122kg) to 240 (109kg) in that time! Tyring not to over do it and get form right still! My goal is body weight in both exercises in 12 weeks!

i'm very far from doing anything close to my body weight. dead lift will be the first. i was thinking about giving starting strength a try after i finish my first 10-12 weeks of doing what i'm doing now. it's working for me but i know when i hit the wall i'm going to need to change it up. i have 4 weeks left in that and then i take a 1 week rest. see how i feel after. i have a pretty solid routine going on right now.

I am almost at my bodyweight for the deadlift. thats about it. I am starting maximum strength as soon as it gets in the mail, so there will be more improvement.
