Well hey...
I was on starting strength not long time ago .. But than switched to split after like 2 months because ofmy stupid friends , tho I was still making progress on SS.
Well fck them .. Split sucks ..
I want to go back to starting strength ...
I was on the "original starting strength novice program" but Im thinking about chaning it to the Practical Programming Novice Program...
The program is like this :
Monday
3x5 Squat
3x5 Bench press / Press (Alternating)
Chin-ups: 3 sets to failure or add weight if completing more than 15 reps
Wednesday
3x5 Squat
3x5 Press / Bench Press (Alternating)
1x5 Deadlift
Friday
3x5 Squat
3x5 Bench Press / Press (Alternating)
Pull-ups: 3 sets to failure or add weight if completing more than 15 reps
This isnt A - B workout like the original ..
But I think im getting it right .. I ofc squat 3x a week...But I only deadlift 1x everyweek right? And than I alternate the bench press and press everyday so it will be like week 1 bench press 2x .. Week 2 bench press 1x ..?
The reason why I want to change is because I want to improve my chin ups and I really dont like power cleaning ... (cuz of sucky technique tbh)
Well I would want to deadlift more than 1 set everyweek TBH but not gonna fv(k with it tho , Ripptoe knows what he's sayin ..
But yeah the point in this thread is to ask you guys ...
Think its a bad idea go switch to this program ? Or maybe it wont matter? Both good programs?
And ANY tips are accepted(:
And oh yeah btw .. Was thinking about videoing my form in deadlift , squat and bench press and post it here to get critique? Would it be ok ? Dont want to post it to bodybuilding.com , bunch of idiots there.
Thanks(:
Gonna take another starting strength circle ..
