Vision training in elite sports -- add Dallas Cowboys

Dallas Cowboys players and training staff will have announced that they will incorporate Nike's patented Sensory Sport Training Lab into the team's training routine.

The SST Lab offers a niche area of training that helps elite athletes improve their visual and cognitive skills, including eye-hand coordination, peripheral vision, focus and concentration, and reaction speed.

Are there any studies that have shown this to be effective? There was a summary of a decade of research that came up negative [1], but that's two years old, and I've been hearing a lot of hype about vision training the past couple of years.
