Sorry it took me so long to get back.... I've been down with the flu.
Oscar you are right! I need to get real and accept that I have no control over what an adult does. I can suggest things such as OA, but I can't make him go.
I hope I can convince my husband to show a little tough love and stop enabling his addiction. It seems that when someone is that fat, they don't want to say something for fear of hurting their feelings.
Thanks for the reality check! I will concentrate on things I can control... health wise... my own nutrition and fitness program. If the time comes that my step son asks me for help I will be there in any way I can!

I think that you need to find something that he should love, but now he can't do/have it. Here are some examples: children, girlfriend (boyfriend?), sex, money (everyone wants to see nice face), be healthy... And repeat that to him often, but not politely.
