Stomach Upset

Has anyone got any tips on coming back from illness? I've recently missed the best part of two weeks traning because of a stomach upset.

I'm eating properly again now and did some light cardio today but was a bit concerned by my lack of vigor. Do you just need to keep it light until you feel some strength coming back?

I usually just jump back into it where I left off, and cut it short if I feel sick again

I agree.

Last summer I had loose stool for like 6 weeks, 2 or 3 times a day. I just stopped squatting for fear of a break through.

Once I figured out my body had developed an allergy to the 6-8 hard boiled eggs I was eating a day, it went away.

Swineflu on the otherhand, kicked my ass and set my lifts back like 12 weeks.

EDIT:

As for tips: Eat as much as you can, and get your ass back under the bar before this sets you back farther than it already has.

Ramp up the intensity quickly. Get back to where you were and surpass it as soon as humanly possible.
