Home made Dip Bars for a squat rack.

Post by Extremistpullup » Sat Nov 12, 2011 7:28 pm

I put together a video on how to make dip bars for your squat rack.
When I sold my squat rack I included my dip bars. So I had to make new ones for my new rack.

Those are some legit ass dip bars. I custom made some dip bars when I lived in florida out of cinderblocks and wooden fence posts. Yours looks a lot more professional did you weld those pieces together? awesome.

John, you sound like a cheap skate like me. I put in two 4X4's in the back yard, slightly wider closer than shoulder width, drilled some holes in them so that the pipes I inserted would go slightly wider the farther the bars left the post. This allowed varying grip widths.

I remember your cinder block gym. Extreme's bars may be fancier than yours were, but I'm sure no more effective!
