Think about working a split shift every day. You work from 6am-10am. Go home. Then go back and work from 4pm to 8pm. Most individuals don't do well with that kind of split shift.
If you don't have a job, it more platable.
If you work for a living, it really get old fast.
So, you go workout, go to work, go work out, go home and go to bed. On your program, you do that basically 5 1/2 days a week.
The Bulgarians proved multiple workouts a day can produce Weightlifting champions over night.
The Bulgarians also proved is you burn Weightlifters out over night with multiple day training. There lifters were shooting stars. Here one day and gone the next.
The Russians took the long view. They brought their lifters along slower. This allowed the Russian lifters a much longer lifting career.
Multilple training sessions have a place in a training program. However, there need to be some play time built into a program.
I've seen the positives of multiple training programs and the negatives.
As I said before, give it a try and see how it works.
